Silver Memorial Bridge (US 35)
The Silver Memorial Bridge carries U.S. Route 35 over the Ohio River between Henderson, West Virginia and Gallipolis, Ohio. Construction on the four-lane cantilever span began in 1968 downstream of the demolished Silver Bridge, and was opened to traffic on December 15, 1969, exactly two years later from the date that the Silver Bridge had collapsed.Further reading
